Introduction
BNN is a publisher of books on computers and design. We publish approximately 60 new titles a year. While we focus on creative areas such as computer graphics, web design, DTP, DTV, and DTM, we also publish numerous books on Macintosh-related subjects. Nowadays, personal computers are used everywhere as a creative tool. With this in mind, we publish books not only about computers themselves but also about the basic theories of design and collection of materials, books that inspire creativity in a wide range of readers, such as designers of various levels and those involved in corporate branding and advertisement, or product marketing.

The value of visual information is universal. BNN deals with the purchase of rights in foreign books, we co-operate in editing and printing with publishers overseas, and we exporting books that we have published in Japan.

Each year, we handle about 10 translated foreign titles for the domestic market as well as about 10 Japanese titles with publication rights for export.

We endeavor to produce and distribute high quality publications by being flexible and by exploiting themes that are truly abreast with the times.

Anyone who interested in our products and business is welcome to visit or contact us.

History
BNN, Bug News Network, was founded in 1985. The monthly publication "Bug News" was the first magazine in Japan to introduce the personal computer - which was then still in its cradle - as a sub-culture by writing mainly about computer games. In 1987, "MediaFront" (renamed "Internet Life" the following year) started as a monthly internet information magazine. Then, another first in Japan, the digital design magazine, "design plex" was issued in 1997. As for books, BNN has so far published over 1,000 titles covering not just computersbut various different subjects such as design, architecture, CAD, games and pop culture.

In 2002, the business has shifted from above mentioned to mainly publications of Computer and Design related books.

In 2004, we successfully succeeded in procuring the sales rights of "Design Exchange" publications.

In 2006, we have started to release so called CD -ROM contained series, such as Petit Pattern Book and Free Style Scraps series. Both series are so popular in North America and Europe for many years.

In 2007, BNN joined to AZ group.
